Where can i get info on how this site works for downloading? It's not like gdlive or the Archieve in ease of downloading....what is "bit torrent"? Do I need shows to trade? Yes I am ignorant, I'm logged in there, but can't seem to find info on what it's all about

Bittorrent provides a way for many users to download files faster than by direct download, because they download from each other.

You'll need the bittorrent program itself. Try download.com or freewarefiles.com. It's a command line tool, so if you don't want to muck about with that, you'll need a GUI front end.

Several good front ends are available. Azureus and BitTornado are popular ones, and there are several others. You can get them at the same sites as above.
